Door Monitor Panel
This door monitor panel was constructed for a client as part of an overall installation of door monitoring equipment from sensor equipment at the doors to wiring and to this display panel. Consultek brings this same level of planning and detail to all of our projects. The design documents you see here are unique to this application and all of our projects include design document deliverables. |

The documentation for this project starts with a request from the client. The request came in the form of a document describing the setup, the type of door alarm, the guard bypass switch, the power source, specifications describing how it will be expected to work, and more. As you can see, this is not merely a panel, it is an entire door alarm system, with the panel pictured above being merely the display for the final product. | |||||||||||||||

| The next documentable for this project is a response from Consultek including a CAD drawing of the display panel, a local alarm block diagram, a shop drawing submittal, and the theory of proposed operation. Consultek reviews these with the client, covering every detail and noting down changes which are discovered as a part of this review. |

| Consultek and the client trade documents back and forth until both are agreed on the details of the installation. Final installation includes not only the door panel pictured and described, but also the door contact hardware to identify open doors and the tiimers and relays to turn things on and off automatically. Final installation is inspected by the client, and Consultek trains the employees in the use of the new alarm panel. | ||||||||||||||||
